Martin Staunton Band are set to play live on The Ray D'Arcy Show (9am-12pm) on TodayFM Monday, 15th January. The band will be performing My Luck is About to Change and a cover of Amy Winehouse's Rehab.

Martin Staunton Band are set to perform at the Townes Van Zandt tribute concert being held in Whelans of Wexford St. on Monday 1st January. Townes Van Zandt, who has performed in Whelans a number of times, has written such classics as "Poncho and Lefty" and "If I Needed You" which have been covered by the likes of Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and Emmylou Harris. The Band will be playing two Townes Van Zandt songs. Proceeds from the show will go towards Focus Ireland. Tickets are priced at €20 and are available from the Whelans Box Office and at the door subject to availability.

Martin Staunton Band are to release their first Single entitled "My Luck is About to Change" nationwide on Friday August 25th 2006. The release will be kicked off with an instore gig in Tower Records, Wicklow St. on Saturday 26th August 2006.
